The irony of my social screw-up is that I did exactly what I tell everyone not to do on social media. I accessed a rarely used account and had just started posting my own content. Since I'm inactive and most of the time I don't share other people's content, guess what happened? Absolutely not. Social media accounts are not a dumping ground. I was unable to attend, and it will take time to make up for this lost ground. Luckily I'm more active on other networks, but give and take is important too. You might think that because I have a strong existing network, the success of social new projects is guaranteed. I wish it were that simple. About a year ago I started a personal project that completely failed.
Part of it was because of my execution and commitment, but part of it was that Phone Number List the topic was a bit remote for my existing audience. One of my goals for this was to find a theme that connected minimal design to something my existing audience was already interested in. In this case, branding. (or don't overlap). Monitoring results Waiting for results can be difficult, and patience is not one of my virtues. Luckily, Google provides us with real-time analytics. While viewing data in real time is a vanity exercise most of the time, it can be extremely useful on launch day and during other large events.
Are your social shares resonating? Which networks (if you stagger them in time) are most effective? Is it worth resharing on any particular network? Your live number can help make these calls. I'm happy to say that I could actually see the needle moving on launch day: fourteen active visitors wasn't going to make me rich, but it was definitely a start. At least I can tell that my social sharing resulted in actual visits.
